Is ‘Murder at the Earl of Grey’s
Hound Manor” a mysterious comedy or a comical mystery? Who
knows?
All I know is that the purpose of the party is to have a howling
good time.
The guests have gathered at Hound
Manor for the reading of the will of the late Earl of Grey. The
reading of the will has been delayed because of the torrential
rain. The roads are flooded, and the Barrister has not yet
arrived.
The Earl’s untimely death is
shrouded in mystery. All the guests are under suspicion of
murder! The guests are:
Ida Cook – The Earl had promised to remember her in his will.
Is that why she personally prepared his nightly cup of tea?
Cousin Earlene – Eccentric as the
Earl. She was angry with the deceased Earl because he would not
let her decorate the mansion in shabby chic.
Bea Kleene – Forty years of
housekeeping for the Earl earned her an inheritance. Was she
tired of waiting?
Willa stronghold – A Personal
Trainer. It was her job to give the aging Earl a workout. Did
she go too far?
Victoria Snodgrass – A jealous
gold-digger and eccentric socialite.
Mavis Tellwell – The private
secretary that knows all about the Earl’s business. Did she
fear it was all going to the dogs?
Anna Bassett – A professional dog
trainer. She was angry that the Earl took all the credit for
her hard work.
Kay Nine – Angry that the Earl
cheated at a Dog Show and his hound won over hers. Who’s
howling now?
The murder is solved when an eye
witness reveals all.
