1.     What if I want to have more than 8 people attend my mystery party?

           The mystery parties work very successfully with larger parties too.  Many clubs and other groups have done them with as many as 50-80 attending.  Guests that do not have roles to play can still enjoy the humor and antics of the role playing characters.  They can ask questions, ad-lib remarks, etc.  At the end of the party, everyone gets to vote as to who they think is the “culprit.”  Everyone gets involved.

            I personally attended a ladies golf club luncheon when they did one of the mysteries.  All the “characters” arrived at once, making a grand entrance.  They paraded into the dining room, in costumes and wigs, causing quite a sensation.  The Hostess set the stage for the mystery, and one by one at various times during the luncheon, the “characters” came up to the microphone and told their story.  Then at the end, everyone voted.  It was very successful.

            Another way to do it for a very large group is to have the role players sit at various tables scattered throughout the dining room.  Then at the appropriate time, they stand and give their story from their table.  They stay “in character” all the time they are at their table, answering questions from the other guests. 

2.      Can I get more invitations than 8? 

            The invitations are designed for those that have roles to play, and give some instructions.  However, you might be able to block out those sections, and make your own copies to send to other guests. 

3.         How long does a party last? 

            The mysteries are designed to take place during the serving of a tea party or lunch.  I suggest 3 parts to be given during scones or salad, 3 during the main entrée, and 2 during desert, followed by the voting.  This usually takes about one and a half hours. 

4.         Do you sell wholesale? 

            Yes, in quantities of 6 or 10.  Please e-mail or call for prices at 951-301-7218.  Please keep in mind I am on Pacific time. 

5.         How long does it take to receive  after I place an order? 

            We usually ship priority mail, the same day or the next for sure. Priority mail gets it to you in 3 days or less, depending on your location. 

6.        Are the Red Feather Lady mysteries just for the Red Hat ladies? 

            No.  Any group of 8 ladies can do them.  The only requirement is that they have a red feather in their clothing, hat or accessories, as they are all members of the Red Feather Ladies Investment Club. 

7.        I don’t like to give my credit card on the internet.  Do you accept credit card orders over the phone?           

            Yes, I can take Mastercard or Visa for phone orders.  Call 951-301-7218 between the hours of 8 – 5 Pacific time.  Or you may print out the order by mail order form on the web site and mail your check and order.

8.       How do I order more than one Mystery Tea Party and receive a discount?

               You may select the number of Mystery Tea Parties you want to order at the bottom of our  Shopping, click here to Purchase   page.   If you are using this sites "Pay Pal Shopping Cart", after making your selection by "add to shopping cart", you proceed to Pay Pals "Proceed to Checkout, enter your payment information on the "Enter Payment Information" and continue on to "Review your Payment Page".   You will see "Seller Info", "Shipping Info", "Payment Info" on this Review Page with a dialogue box at the bottom of the page to type in the names of  which Mystery Tea Parties you are selecting.  You complete your order by selecting the "Pay button" 
           You may also contact Maxine's Mystery Tea Parties and submitting payment by MasterCard or Visa for phone orders.  Call 951-301-7218 between the hours  of 8 – 5 Pacific time.  Additionally, you may print out the "order by mail order form" on the web site and mail your check and order.

9.      How do I "download" one of Maxine's Mystery Tea Party products?

          Each product purchase page has two elements containing the following information: 
            "This Mystery Tea Party plan is available to download in Adobe Reader format.  The adobe reader is free.  You can get it here:  ".....
                                                        AND
Simply click on the "Buy Now" button and you will be returned to the "Download now" page. 

EXPLANATION:     You need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer.  The product will be downloaded in Adobe Reader Format.  The Adobe Reader Program is installed on most newer computers and provided free of charge, if needed, at the Adobe Website to download and install on your computer.  Simply click on the Get Adobe Reader icon and follow the directions provided by the Adobe Website (you can click the button above).  If the Reader is already installed or once you have installed the Adobe Reader from their website, the NEXT STEP  is to click on the buy now button you will see in this sentence " Simply click on the "Buy Now" button and you will be returned to the "Download now" page.  "     '            
When you click on the "buy now" button, your payment is processed by PayPal and you will be returned to a page on this site which reads:

EXPLANATION:  Once clicked the product should open up in your Web Brower or Acrobat Reader Window at which time it may be printed out or saved to your computer to print out later.  Depending upon your computers configuration,  once the is clicked, you may be asked if you want to open the document or save to your computer.  The Choice is yours.  Once opened it can still be saved by using your  File>Save Command on your tool bar or by clicking the "disc" icon near the upper left of the Adobe Reader window . Just remember where you saved it so you can view and print the document when desired.

Now, if you have become completely frustrated because you think IT IS NOT WORKING,  read the instructions again carefully.  Make sure you have the Adobe Reader installed. Use your browser' s back button to get back to "Download Now" Page you went to from PayPal,  have a nice cup of calming tea and try it again.  If you are still having problems call me and we will work out a solution.
